The dBodhi Artisan Coffee Table is made from 100% reclaimed teak sourced from century-old houses in remote East Java villages, measuring 160 x 70cm. Traditional Javanese joinery holds the legs together, with the joins left visible. The legs are fitted on delivery.

The joinery is the reason to look closely at this table. Traditional Javanese techniques, passed between generations of artisans, join timber without relying on modern fixings, and here those joins are made a visible feature of the legs rather than hidden away.
The timber itself came out of houses in remote East Java villages that stood for a century, which means it was seasoned by decades of use before anyone made furniture from it. At 160 x 70cm the top is generous, giving room for books, a tray and decor without crowding. Assembly is limited to fitting the legs. Being reclaimed, the grain, colour and small imperfections differ from table to table, and that is what the piece is for.
