The piece
The detail behind the silhouette
The name describes the proportion accurately, which is rarer than it should be. This is a wide, low vessel rather than a tall one, so it suits a plant that spreads outward and looks wrong under anything with a single tall stem.
A low, broad pot is also the most stable shape available, which matters for a plant that will grow top-heavy. At 3.75kg with a wide base, this will hold a maturing plant upright far longer than a narrow vessel of the same volume.
Buying the range together is the intention behind the collaboration, and the pieces do work as a family. The finishes match exactly and the shapes differ enough to stack in a group without any two competing.
