The Willa Marble Side Table in Emperador Marble - Chocolate Oak is 53cm across and 50cm high, with a marble top on a timber base. At 53cm across it takes a lamp and a drink together, which a smaller top cannot. The colour names the stone first and the timber second.

The piece
The detail behind the silhouette
Fifty-three centimetres is generous for a side table and that is what makes it useful. A lamp and a glass fit at the same time without either crowding the other, which is the difference between a table that gets used and one that gets tidied around.
At 50cm high it sits at or just above seat height beside most chairs, so a hand falls on it without looking. The dark marble reads as a solid mass rather than a pattern, which suits a busy room.
The caveat is weight and porosity together. A solid stone top at this size is heavy enough to chip a tile if it goes over, and it will ring from a wet glass left standing.

Marble is porous even when sealed. Wipe spills straight away, particularly anything acidic, and use a stone-safe cleaner rather than a general spray. Veining and colour vary between pieces.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
