Varo Coffee Table - Thunder
The Varo Coffee Table in Thunder is a marble table 120cm wide, 90cm deep and 38cm high, with a pale ground and heavy charcoal and grey-violet veining. Once it has been assembled in position it should not be moved, and must be disassembled to relocate it. The top is a rounded rectangle on four curved stone legs.

Thunder is the most dramatic stone in the range, with veins broad enough and dark enough to be read across a room. That makes placement a decision rather than an afterthought, because the figuring wants space around it and will fight a heavily patterned rug. Over a plain floor or a flat-woven rug it looks considered; over a busy pattern it looks crowded.
The instruction not to move it once installed is worth taking seriously and worth planning around. Decide the final position before the pieces are joined, allow for the rug being there already, and accept that rearranging the room later means taking the table apart rather than sliding it across. That is the cost of a solid stone piece assembled in place.

Note: Natural stone, so colour, veining and density vary from piece to piece. Minor pitting and surface fissures are characteristic of the material.
ONCE INSTALLED DO NOT MOVE is the supplier's own instruction, and relocating the table means disassembling it rather than lifting or sliding it. Dust with a soft cloth, clean with a barely damp one, and dry the surface to avoid spotting. Wipe spills immediately, since a liquid left on stone can mark it permanently. Minor pitting and fissures are natural to the material, and small scratches are wear rather than a warranty claim.
