The piece
The detail behind the silhouette
Two things make a sofa this size work in a real house: where the open end points, and whether the colour lets it recede. This combination answers both. The right-hand chaise suits a room entered from the left, and the muted green sits back far enough that 3.38 metres of upholstery does not announce itself the moment you walk in.
Green upholstery has a reputation for dating, and it is largely earned by saturated versions of it. The grey through this one is doing the work of keeping it current, in the same way that a sage wall reads as a neutral where a true green never would. Paired with timber and cream it is quiet; paired with black metal and white it sharpens up considerably.

Vacuum with a soft attachment as a matter of routine, and run the crevice tool down the join between the sections where the two halves meet. Spills need blotting with absorbent paper, then a white non-abrasive cloth and mild soap suds if anything remains. Keep it away from sustained direct sun to avoid uneven fading across a dyed fabric. Moving it is a two-person job, and it should be lifted clear of the floor rather than pushed.
