Urban Sofa RHC - Ecru
The Urban Sofa RHC in Ecru is the right-hand version of Kolbi's curved sofa, with the open chaise sitting on the right as you face the piece. It measures 338cm wide, 105cm deep and 70cm high, with the seat at 40cm. The cream upholstery and the sweep of the frame are identical to the left-hand version; only the orientation differs.

Which hand you need is decided by the room, not by preference, and it is worth working out before ordering rather than after. Put the chaise on the side away from the main walkway, so the long leg of the sofa is not the thing people step around to get into the room. In an open-plan space the chaise usually wants to point into the room and away from the kitchen or the hallway.
In a light cream the curved back becomes the feature it was designed to be. The frame rolls continuously from the arm end round to the open end, and a pale fabric holds enough shadow in that curve to show it without the piece looking heavy. Set against a white wall it reads as form; against a darker wall it reads as a bright line across the room.

Give it a regular pass with a soft upholstery head, and lift the scatter cushions rather than vacuuming around them. Any spill should be dabbed up at once with absorbent paper and then a white cloth, using mild soap suds only if a mark persists. An annual professional dry clean is what Kolbi specifies, and on a cream that advice is worth following rather than deferring. Lift with two people when it needs moving, since dragging risks the frame as well as the floor.
