Getting the hand right matters more than the colour does. A chaise on the wrong side turns a generous sofa into an obstruction, blocking the natural line into a room in a way that no amount of restyling recovers. Stand where you normally walk in and picture the long open end running away from you rather than across your path.
Dusk is the colourway that changes most with the light in the room. North-facing rooms pull the grey forward and it behaves almost like a warm stone; a lamp-lit room at night brings the pink up noticeably. If a decision hinges on the exact tone, see it in the space rather than on a screen, because this one genuinely does not photograph as it looks.

A soft brush head used often is the main thing, with particular attention to the underside of the curve where dust gathers unseen. Blot spills immediately and clean with colourless mild soap suds rather than any detergent. Avoid parking it in a sunny window, since a dyed mid tone will lose colour along the exposed edge before the rest of the piece shows any change. Kolbi notes that early pilling is excess fibre releasing and will reduce over time.
