The Urban Sofa LHC in Dusk is a 338cm curved sofa with the chaise end on the left as you look at it, and a seat height of 40cm. The fabric is Copeland Dusk, a soft muted pink with a good deal of grey in it, closer to a neutral than to a colour. It arrives as two sections that join on site, and is 105cm deep.

Pink on something this large usually goes one of two ways, and the amount of grey in the mix decides which. Dusk lands well on the quiet side: in daylight it reads as a warm putty and only shows its pink under lamplight or against a cool white wall. That makes it far easier to live with than the swatch suggests, and it sits comfortably with terracotta, unpolished brass and most timbers.
The chaise end has no arm, which is what makes it useful rather than merely long. You can sit sideways on it, put your legs up without twisting, or let someone sleep there, none of which works on a sofa that is armed at both ends. The back curves down into that open end, so the piece still feels finished rather than cut off.

Run a soft upholstery head over it regularly, including down the back, because a curved frame traps dust along the inside of the bend. Blot any spill straight away with a white, non-abrasive cloth and use colourless mild soap suds if a mark is left behind. A mid-tone like this hides less than people expect, so treat marks promptly rather than waiting to see whether they settle. Kolbi asks that the piece is lifted by two people and never dragged.
