Pistachio is an unusual colour for a dining chair and that is the appeal. It is soft enough to work as a neutral against pale timber, but distinct enough that a set of six becomes the thing people notice about a room rather than the table they surround.

The wingback shape is gentler than the name suggests. The back curves forward at the sides and rises 400mm above the seat, which gives shoulder support without the enveloping feel of a proper wing chair. Slim metal legs keep the base visually light against the volume of the upholstered shell, and they take knocks better than timber. Foam fill in both the seat and the back means the comfort is even rather than concentrated in the cushion.
