The Theo Dining Chair in Fawn Dijon is upholstered right down to the legs in a fawn speckle fabric. Seat height is 465mm and seat depth is 440mm. Cushioning is foam with a Dacron wrap.

Speckled fabrics earn their keep in dining rooms. A flecked weave breaks up the surface visually, so crumbs, light marks and the ordinary wear of daily meals simply do not register the way they would on a flat solid colour.

Fully upholstered legs give this version a different character from a chair on exposed metal or timber. The shell reads as one continuous form from floor to shoulder, softer and quieter, which suits a room where you want the chairs to sit back and let the table lead. The Dacron wrap over the foam is worth noting: it rounds off the edges of the cushioning, so the seat holds its shape rather than compressing into a hard block over time.
