Fairbanks Floor Rug - Sand
A bamboo silk and jute floor rug by Baya in sand. For the lounge, bedroom or dining room.

The detail behind the silhouette
Sand is the middle of the three neutrals in this range and the easiest to live with. It is dark enough not to show every mark the way limestone does, and light enough not to close a room down the way fossil can.
In its smaller sizes this rug is best treated as a defined zone rather than a floor covering. Under a chair, beside a bed, or in a small study it does its work; laid loose in the middle of a large room it will look stranded.
A filament blend rewards being seen from a seated position. Most of the sheen is only visible at a low angle, which is exactly where anyone using a bedroom or reading corner will be looking from.
Material: Handwoven from bamboo silk and jute
Construction: Tufted pile with subtle tonal variation
Colour: Sand
Handcrafted: Yes
Keep this rug dry. Vacuum with the beater bar off, blot any spill immediately, and do not wet-clean it: the bamboo silk content is a viscose and marks permanently where water has been. Professional dry cleaning only.
