The detail behind the silhouette
Pale and viscose is the least forgiving pairing in floor coverings, and it is worth being direct about that before the rug is bought rather than after. A light colour shows every mark and a viscose blend cannot be wet-cleaned, so the two limitations compound rather than cancel.
Used in the right place it is an excellent rug. A bedroom floor, a reading corner or a formal room that is not walked through carries almost no risk, and this is where a pale filament pile looks better than any wool.
The stone reference in the colour name is accurate in a way that matters. Limestone is not white; it carries a grey and a faint warmth at once, which is why it sits comfortably against both cool and warm walls.
Material: Handwoven from bamboo silk and jute
Construction: Tufted pile with subtle tonal variation
Colour: Limestone, a light stone tone
Handcrafted: Yes
Keep this rug dry. Vacuum with the beater bar off, blot any spill immediately, and do not wet-clean it: the bamboo silk content is a viscose and marks permanently where water has been. Professional dry cleaning only.
Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours, and only while the piece is still with the supplier. Once 48 hours have passed, or the piece has been despatched, cancellation is no longer possible. Refund Policy →
