The Tepih Dune Round Rug in Oatmeal is hand woven from 70% viscose and 30% wool, in 180cm and 250cm diameters. The surface combines a 5 to 6mm loop with a 7 to 8mm cut pile, so the texture changes across the rug rather than staying uniform. It is made for indoor use, and a rug pad is recommended.

The detail behind the silhouette
A round rug solves a problem a rectangle cannot. Under a round dining table it keeps chair legs on the rug at every seat instead of catching on an edge, and in a corner or a bay it follows the shape of the space rather than fighting it. The two diameters here suit quite different jobs: 180cm is a rug for a chair and a lamp, while 250cm will take a full seating arrangement.
The mixed pile is the detail worth knowing about. Loops at 5 to 6mm sit lower and wear harder; cut pile at 7 to 8mm stands taller and catches light differently, so the pattern is made by texture and shadow rather than by colour alone. This is hand woven rather than hand loom knotted like the rectangular Dune rugs, which is a genuinely different construction and gives a softer, less dense surface.

Make low power vacuuming a routine, and treat any mark as a spot clean. Take care over the looped sections, where a beater bar or a rotating brush can pull a loop proud of the surface; suction alone is safer. As each rug is made by hand, small differences between pieces are expected.
