Soho Lamp
The Soho Lamp in Black/White is 35cm across and 35cm high, as a compact lamp with the shade and base in two tones. Being as wide as it is tall makes it read as a block of light rather than a stem with a shade. It suits a shelf or a bedside.

A lamp with equal width and height is a different object from a conventional one. There is no stem, so the light sits low and close to the surface, which makes it an object in the room as much as a light source.
At 35cm across it fits a shelf or a narrow bedside where a taller lamp would overhang. The two tones separate the shade from the base visually, which stops a small lamp reading as a single lump.
The caveat is what low light does. A shade at 35cm puts the light below seated eye level, so this is mood lighting and a poor reading lamp. It works best alongside something taller.

Dust the base with a soft cloth and brush the shade rather than wiping it.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
