Sierra Marble Flute Bowl
The Sierra Marble Flute Bowl is a hand carved white marble bowl with a fluted, ruffled rim, made by Indian artisans. It comes in 20 x 20 x 5cm and 30.5 x 30.5 x 10cm. The smaller size suits jewellery or a bar of soap, the larger takes frangipanis or similar.

Marble is cool and heavy, and it stays exactly where you put it, which is what you want from a dish living on a bathroom bench or a bedside table. The fluted rim catches shadow along its edge, so it reads as carved rather than moulded.
Some people want warmth from a natural material and go straight to timber. Marble does the opposite. It stays quiet and cool, and it sits comfortably beside brass, glass or plain white ceramic. Every bowl is cut, carved, finished and polished by hand, so the ruffles are never identical from piece to piece.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
