Sid Occasional Chair
The Sid Occasional Chair is 83cm wide, 75cm deep and 76cm high, upholstered in 100% polyester rated 100,000 on the Martindale scale. A welded matt black metal frame carries a curved, foam-filled seat and back. It needs no assembly.

A welded frame is worth distinguishing from a bolted one. Welding removes every joint that can work loose, so the chair will not develop the sideways movement that eventually affects bolted metal furniture, and it is the reason this arrives finished rather than in parts.
The seat is 755mm wide inside a chair 83cm across, which tells you the frame is doing the work rather than the padding. That is a generous seat for an occasional chair, and it means the piece is comfortable to sit sideways in, which is how an armchair in a reading corner actually gets used.
Russet against matt black is a deliberate warm and cool pairing. The metal keeps the colour from reading as retro, and the colour keeps the metal from reading as industrial, and neither works nearly as well on its own.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
