At half a metre wide this is the size that works alone. Where the smaller units really want company on a wall, a 50cm shelf has enough presence to sit by itself above a desk, a bedside or a hallway console.
That width also takes a genuine row of books rather than a token few, which makes it functional as well as decorative. The teak appears to float inside the iron frame rather than being fixed to the wall directly, an effect that comes from how the frame carries the shelf, and it is the main reason these read as designed objects instead of storage. Every shelf differs in grain because the teak is salvaged, so no two in a group are identical.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
