The Serene Aqua Linen Placemat is a 30 x 45cm linen placemat in a soft aqua. Linen is durable enough for daily use and softens with washing. Machine washable on a gentle cold cycle.

Aqua is an uncommon choice for table linen and a considered one. Most placemats hedge towards neutrals, whereas a soft blue-green brings actual colour to a setting while staying calm enough not to fight with the food.
It pairs particularly well with white china, where the contrast is clean, and with timber, where the cool tone balances the warmth. Linen is the right fibre for something that gets washed constantly: it takes repeated laundering without thinning and gets softer rather than rougher over time. At 30 x 45cm it accommodates a dinner plate with room around it for cutlery and a glass, which is what a placemat needs to do. Iron on low if it creases.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water. Lay flat to air dry. A quick iron on a low setting will smooth out any creases.

Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
