Walnut is the warmest finish in the Seb range and the one that does most in a room of pale timber. Across a 120cm disc there is a great deal of grain on show, and a rich brown veneer reads as a deliberate anchor where a pale one would merge into the floor.
The construction is stated plainly and worth knowing: an MDF top faced in walnut veneer, on PVC legs wrapped in the same veneer. That is what allows the round pillar form to be made consistently and keeps the weight manageable. The chamfer and demi-bullnose profile round the underside of the edge where a shin meets it. Three hundred millimetres of clearance is enough for a basket or a flat stack of books.
