Claylime is an unusual finish to find on a mass-produced table. It is applied as a texture rather than a colour, so the surface has tooth to it and catches light unevenly, which is what stops a 120cm disc of neutral tone reading as a flat plane.
Be clear-eyed about the construction. This is MDF with PVC legs under that finish, which is what makes a textured surface achievable and consistent across a large top; a solid timber table could not carry the same finish evenly. Rope is a warm mid-neutral that will sit against most upholstery without matching anything. At 34cm it is low, so pair it with a deep sofa rather than an upright one, and allow the width: this is a table for a generous room.
