Seb Pedestal Side Table - Oak
The Seb Pedestal Side Table in Oak is 60cm wide, 30cm deep and 49.5cm high, on a cantilevered pedestal. The top reaches out past the base, so it slides over the arm of a chair or the edge of a bed. At 30cm deep it takes almost no floor.

A cantilever is the answer to a problem a four-legged table cannot solve: getting a surface over something else. The base sits clear of the chair and the top comes to you, which is why this shape keeps appearing beside sofas and beds.
At 60cm by 30cm the top is narrow and long rather than square. That is enough for a laptop, a book or a cup, and deliberately not enough to become a surface things accumulate on.
The caveat is the physics. A cantilevered top concentrates load at the base, so it is not the table to lean on or to sit a heavy lamp at the far edge of. Keep the weight near the middle.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Use coasters and placemats to protect the surface from spills and heat. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve the natural finish.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
