Three legs under an oval is an unusual and deliberate choice. Four would give a leg at each quarter and a permanent argument about where the middle chairs go; three spreads the load with one at each end and one at the centre of a long side, which leaves more of the perimeter genuinely free.
At 300cm this is a table for a room built around it, and the numbers confirm the intent: 497mm of overhang means chairs tuck properly, and 705mm of clearance is generous for legs. The 57mm top is thick enough to look solid at this length, where a thin top would appear to sag even if it did not. A demi-bullnose softens the underside of that edge where you meet it.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
