Seb Oval Dining Table - Black Oak
The Seb Oval Dining Table in Black Oak is 220cm long, 105cm wide and 76.5cm high, in timber veneer. The oval has no corners to walk around, so a narrow dining room loses less floor to the table than a rectangle of the same length. It seats around eight.

An oval earns its place in a room that is long and not quite wide enough. The ends taper, so the chairs at the head sit closer in and the traffic route past the table stays open where a rectangular corner would block it.
At 220cm this is a serious length, and the thing people forget is the chair clearance. Allow another 75cm all round for pulled-out chairs before deciding it fits, which on this table means a room about 3.7m long at minimum.
Veneer over a core rather than solid timber keeps a top this size flat, which is the right engineering choice. It also means a deep scratch cannot be sanded out the way it could on solid stock, so mats under serving dishes are worth the small fuss.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Use coasters and placemats to protect the surface from spills and heat. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve the natural finish.

Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
