Jute against timber is a texture pairing rather than a colour one. Both sit in the same warm natural range, so what you notice is the difference between the smooth frame and the woven seat, which is a quieter effect than contrast but a longer lasting one.
Tapered legs are what stop this reading as purely rustic. They give the chair a structured, almost mid-century line, which is why it holds up in a modern room as well as a relaxed one. The woven seat and back breathe, making it comfortable for longer than a solid timber chair. At 64 x 75cm the footprint is compact enough for a bedroom corner, and it is versatile enough to be pulled to a dining table when there are extra guests.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
