Four poster beds have a reputation for heaviness, mostly earned by the solid timber posts on traditional versions. Using slim iron poles instead changes the effect entirely: you get the framing and the height without the visual bulk.
At 200cm tall the poles draw the eye upward and define a volume around the bed, which makes a large bedroom feel more contained and deliberate. Because they are thin, they do that without blocking sightlines or darkening the room. The headboard and body are solid reclaimed teak, so the weight sits low where it belongs. In a king configuration the bed is 192cm across, which needs a genuinely large room to work rather than merely fit.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
