Brick on a two-metre buffet is a decision about the whole room rather than about the piece. A red-brown at this scale sets the temperature of a dining space and will pull colour out of terracotta, leather and timber already in it. Against a cool grey scheme it will argue.
What makes it work is the leg. Circular legs lift a long case clear of the floor, so the colour reads as a band rather than a block, and you see skirting and rug running underneath. The internal shelf figures are published in full here, at 760 by 410 by 240mm, which tells you before ordering whether your platters go in flat. What is not published on this colourway is the material, which its siblings state.
