Velvet earns its place through light more than colour. Move around a room and the pile shifts between darker and brighter, which is why a solid velvet cushion rarely looks flat even in a plain scheme.
The rectangular format is useful on a deep sofa or propped against bed pillows, where a square can look bulky. Prairie is a single solid tone, so it takes pressure off the rest of an arrangement if your other covers are busy. Whether an insert is included is not stated, so ask first if that matters to you.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
