The Owen Drawer Shelving Unit in New Oak is the tall, deep version at 124cm wide, 50cm deep and 238cm high. Solid oak throughout, with open shelving above a built-in drawer. It anchors a modular Owen run.

The piece
The detail behind the silhouette
This is the largest piece in the Owen range and the one that decides the look of a whole wall. Buy it first and arrange the smaller units around it; the reverse order usually ends with the big unit stranded in a corner where its proportions work against it.
At 238cm tall and 50cm deep the unit holds a serious amount of weight, and that is the argument for solid oak over a veneered board. Shelves at this span sag over years under a full load unless the material is stiff enough, and solid timber is what keeps a long shelf reading straight.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
