This floor lamp has a solid mango wood base 20cm square and 120cm high, under a shade 53cm across and 40cm high. The shade is pressed paper over an acrylic inner on a wire frame. It weighs 19.36kg.

The proportions here are the point. A 53cm shade on a 20cm base is a deliberate imbalance, and it is what gives the lamp its presence: the eye reads a wide soft form floating above a narrow timber stem, which is a more interesting silhouette than a proportional lamp produces.
Nineteen kilograms is heavy for a floor lamp and that is a feature rather than a cost. A wide shade at this height catches any knock, and the mass in the base is what stops it going over.
Position it beside seating rather than behind it. The shade's lower edge sits above head height for anyone seated, so the light falls outward across the room rather than down onto a book, which suits ambient use and not reading.

Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
