Ten millimetres is the specification that makes a rug usable in a doorway. There is nothing to catch a door swing, nothing to trip on at the edge, and no depth for grit to work down into.
Cumin is a warm mid tone and it is the practical choice for an entry. Dry soil, sand and leaf litter all sit in that colour range, so the rug reads as clean for far longer between shakes than a pale one would.
PET does not take up water, which is the property that makes an entry rug work. Wet shoes leave surface moisture that evaporates rather than a damp patch that stays in the fibre.

Vacuum or shake out. Hose down and dry flat when it needs more. Keep it undercover and store it rolled and dry through a wet season.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
