The PET fibre is recovered from plastic drink bottles.
PET is polyester with a second life. It does not absorb water, which is the property that makes it usable outdoors and the property that makes a spill sit on the surface long enough to be lifted off rather than soaking in.
The fibre is often described as feeling like wool, and at a distance it does. Underfoot it is firmer and less springy, and it will not recover from a heavy furniture leg the way a wool pile does, so plan the layout before laying it.
Undercover is the working limit. A PET rug tolerates damp air and the occasional splash, but one left out in weather traps grit in the weave and grows mould on the underside where it never dries.

Vacuum or shake out. Hose down and dry flat if it needs more than that. Bring the rug undercover in wet weather and store it rolled and dry.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
