Michigan Rattan Stool
The Michigan Rattan Stool has a handwoven rattan seat on a sturdy timber frame, with a 65cm seat height suited to kitchen counters and bar settings. It measures 53cm wide and 90cm to the backrest. The weave gives it an airy, open look.

Seat height is the number that matters most with a stool, and 65cm is counter height rather than bar height. Measure the underside of your benchtop before committing, since a stool even slightly out is uncomfortable in a way you notice at every meal.
Rattan keeps a row of stools from feeling heavy. Three solid timber stools along a kitchen island can block sightlines and make a room feel closed in, whereas an open weave lets the eye through and keeps the space breathing. The timber frame underneath does the structural work, so the airiness costs nothing in stability. It leans boho and coastal, though the clean silhouette means it holds up in a plainer contemporary kitchen.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
