The Michigan Dining Chair in Natural is 53cm wide, 51cm deep and 88cm high, with a woven back on a timber frame. At 88cm the back is tall, so it gives real support through a long meal. At 53cm wide six fit around a long table.

An 88cm back on a 53cm chair is an unusual combination and a good one. Tall backs are normally on wide chairs, which limits how many fit; this one gives you the support without the width, so you can use them all the way round rather than only at the ends.
The woven back keeps the visual weight down, which matters with a tall chair. A solid back at 88cm would dominate a small dining room.
The caveat is the weave and sunlight. Rattan dries and grows brittle in direct sun over a few years, so a set by a window will not age evenly with the ones across the table.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth to preserve the natural finish. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which will draw colour and texture out of the rattan over time.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
