The Margot Planter comes in three sizes from 19cm to 28cm square, in white ceramic with a ribbed body. Each sits on a wooden frame underneath. The rib runs vertically around the full circumference.

A timber base under a ceramic body is doing two things at once. It lifts the pot clear of the surface so a damp base never sits against timber, and it gives the piece a warm line at the bottom that stops a white ceramic reading as clinical.

Ribbing is the most reliable way to make a plain cylinder interesting, because it works in any light. Where a subtle glaze variation needs the right angle to be seen, vertical ribs cast their own shadows from every direction and read from across a room.

The three sizes are close enough together to group convincingly. A stepped run of the same profile at 19, 24 and 28cm gives height variation without any of them looking out of scale beside the others.
