The Madrid Curve Bed in Mercury Boucle is an upholstered queen bed, 203cm wide, 238cm deep and 109cm high overall. The curved bedhead wraps the top of the mattress rather than sitting flat behind it. It suits a room with space to walk around three sides.

The overall depth is 238cm, which is the figure to work with rather than the mattress size. A curved bedhead pushes the whole piece further off the wall than a flat one, and the 238cm here already accounts for that.
Upholstered bedheads carry sound as well as they carry light. In a room with hard floors and little else soft in it, the difference is audible, which is one of the quieter reasons people choose them.
The practical caveat is cleaning. A curved upholstered head collects dust along the top edge where a timber one would not, and it needs a vacuum brush over it every few weeks rather than a wipe.

Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
