The Lachlan Dining Armchair in Desert Sand has a powder-coated iron frame and 100% PU upholstery, with a 445mm seat height and 455mm seat depth. Arms sit at 610mm and the back at 380mm. It arrives fully assembled.

Desert sand is the easiest of these to place, a warm pale neutral that will sit against oak, walnut or a stone-topped table without needing to be matched to any of them. Pale upholstery around a dining table is always a calculation, and polyurethane makes it a defensible one, since it wipes.
The back is low at 380mm above the seat, which is a deliberate choice rather than an economy. A low back on a dining armchair keeps sightlines open across a table and stops six chairs looking like a wall when the room is seen from a doorway. The compromise is that there is no head or shoulder support, so this suits meals rather than lingering. Everything you need to check is published: seat height, depth, width and arm height.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
