The Kennedy Tenner Occasional Chair in Soft Moss Velvet is a barrel-shaped chair in a 90% cotton and 10% polyester velvet. The seat sits at 450mm with 540mm of depth and arms at 620mm. It arrives fully assembled.

A cotton-majority velvet is a different material from the polyester velvets that dominate this category. Cotton pile has a softer, less reflective surface and it marks and rubs more readily, which is the trade for a depth of colour that synthetic velvet does not reach.
The 20,000 Martindale rating confirms where this belongs: a bedroom, a reading corner, a formal sitting room used a few times a week. It is not the chair for a family living room. Soft moss is a muted green that reads almost as a neutral against timber, and the barrel form wraps the fabric around a continuous curve so the pile catches light differently on every plane. Foam filling keeps the shape defined rather than letting it slump.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
