The Kennedy Beckett Sofa Chair in Olive Green Velvet has a low curved profile over a plywood and solid wood frame. The velvet is 90% cotton and 10% polyester, rated 20,000 on the Martindale scale. Cushions are foam filled.

The frame is the part worth knowing about. Plywood with solid timber is a proper furniture-making construction rather than particle board and staples, and it is what determines whether a chair still sits square after a decade rather than loosening at the joints.
Olive velvet is a colour with more range than it sounds. In daylight it reads green; under a lamp it goes closer to a warm brown-gold, because velvet pile shifts tone with the angle of the light. That makes it easier to live with than a flat olive fabric would be. The low, spare profile means the chair sits below most sofa backs, which is what lets it work alongside a larger piece rather than competing with it.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
