Karan Handwoven Linen Throw
The Karan Handwoven Linen Throw is a 130 x 190cm throw handwoven from 3mm pure linen threads in a plain weave, alternating natural and white. A front closure of wooden buttons with elongated loop straps runs across it. The thick thread gives it a substantial, textured handle.

Three millimetre linen threads are heavy for a woven throw, and that is what produces the texture. You can see the individual threads in the weave, which gives the surface a chunky, handmade quality that a fine weave never achieves.
Alternating a warm silvery natural with a creamy white creates a subtle stripe that shifts depending on the light, and the linen brings a natural shine that cotton does not. The wooden buttons and loop straps are the unusual detail, a working front closure on a throw, which lets it be fastened rather than only draped. Matching cushions are available in the same range in 50 x 50cm and 60 x 40cm if you want the look carried across a sofa.

Gentle hand wash in lukewarm or cold water with a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat in the shade to dry. As with most fabrics, prolonged sun exposure will gradually lighten the natural linen.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
