Braiding is a different construction from weaving and it produces a different object. Lengths of yarn are plaited into a continuous rope and then coiled and stitched, which is why a braided rug is naturally round and why the surface reads as concentric rather than as a grid.
Four millimetres is barely a rug at all in depth terms, and that is the point. It will lie under a door, under a low sofa, and over an existing floor covering without any transition.
The stitching between coils is the part to watch. It is the only thing holding a braided rug together, so a loose thread should be secured early rather than left to unwind.

Shake out or vacuum with suction only. Hose down and dry flat. Secure any loose stitching between the coils promptly, since it is what holds a braided rug together.

Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
