The Granada Butterfly Occasional Chair in Sunkiss is 66cm wide, 70cm deep and 77cm high, with a woven seat slung on a steel frame. The weave carries the sitter rather than a cushion, so there is nothing to store. It suits a covered terrace or a sunroom.

A slung seat works on a principle upholstery does not: it gives where your weight is and holds where it is not. That makes a chair with no cushion genuinely comfortable, which is why the shape has survived since the 1930s.
At 66cm wide this is a compact single chair, and at 70cm deep it is a reading chair rather than a dining one. Nothing about it needs covering or bringing in when it rains.
The caveat is the weave under load. A slung seat stretches slightly over years and cannot be re-tensioned at home, so it will sit a little lower in five years than it does new.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
