Foam wrapped in fibrefill is a construction worth understanding. Bare foam holds a shape but feels firm and looks blocky at the edges; wrapping it softens the profile and gives the cushion a slight give at first contact without letting it collapse. It is the difference between a chair that looks upholstered and one that looks padded.
Brick is a decisive colour and this is a good shape to put it on. The wraparound back is a large continuous curve, so the tone graduates across it as light falls rather than sitting flat, which is what stops a strong colour reading as paint. Against natural ash legs the pairing is warm on warm. At 94,000 Martindale the fabric is specified well past domestic need.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
