Two materials on a piece this small is a risk that works when the join is clean. The stone reads as the surface and the timber as the structure, and neither pretends to be the other.
At 48cm square this is a table for a lamp and a drink rather than for one or the other. That is the size at which a side table stops being decorative, and it is worth the extra footprint beside a chair that gets used every evening.
The caveat is the stone. It is porous whatever the finish, so a wet glass left standing will mark it, and a stone top on a small table is heavy enough that the piece wants positioning rather than moving.

Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
