Powder blue has a reputation problem: it can slide towards nursery territory if everything around it is soft too. It works best against something with weight to it, a dark timber table or a stone top, where the pale blue reads as considered rather than sweet.
The abrasion rating is the notable figure. At 100,000 Martindale this fabric is specified well past what a domestic dining chair usually needs, and that matters more on a pale colour than a dark one, because pale upholstery shows wear as fuzzing and pilling long before it shows a hole. Seat depth is 420mm, which is on the compact side and helps the chair tuck fully under a table between meals.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
