The Eleanor Dining Chair in Hay is upholstered in 100% polyester over a metal frame, with a foam-filled seat at 460mm. Its fabric is rated 94,000 on the Martindale scale. The back is rounded rather than flat.

Hay is a warm straw neutral, the sort of colour that stops a dining room feeling cold without committing to an actual hue. It sits comfortably with oak, rattan and linen, which is most of what an Australian dining room is made of.
Worth noting that the frame here is metal. On a fully upholstered chair you never see it, but it is the part doing the structural work, and it is what keeps the chair square after years of being dragged in and out from a table. Foam fill gives an even, firm sit rather than a soft one, which is the right choice for dining, where you want support rather than sink.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
