Dimi Armchair
The Dimi Armchair is a fully upholstered armchair in Plush Bracken, 90cm wide, 85cm deep and 75cm high. The backrest curves round to meet the seat and the arms and legs are cylindrical, so there is no square edge anywhere on it. It arrives ready to use with no assembly, and Kolbi rates it for commercial use as well as domestic.

The footprint is very nearly square, 90cm across by 85cm deep, and that is unusual enough to change where the chair works. Most armchairs are appreciably wider than they are deep, which gives them a front and commits them to facing something. This one reads much the same from any angle, so it can hold a corner, turn into a room, or float beside a sofa without looking as though it has been put down the wrong way round.
Bracken is a brown with enough warmth in it to sit alongside timber rather than argue with it. On a plush pile the tone lifts and drops as light crosses the surface, which is what keeps a large single-colour chair from reading as one flat block. At 75cm high it stays below a typical window line, and the commercial rating is a fair proxy for how the upholstery has been built even if the chair never leaves a living room.

Vacuum with a soft upholstery attachment, and do it more often than feels necessary, because trapped dust and body moisture dull a plush pile faster than actual wear does. Blot spills immediately with absorbent paper or a clean white cloth, then lift what remains with mild soap suds rather than detergent. Kolbi asks for a professional dry clean once a year and notes that light pilling is loose fibre working its way out rather than a fault. Move it with two people rather than dragging it across the floor.
