The Desert Calm Sofa in Copeland Ink is a deep navy fabric sofa with saddle stitch detailing, offered as a 3 Seater 244cm wide or a 4 Seater 284cm wide. Both are 102cm deep and 72cm high, with a 40cm seat height and a 74cm seat depth. Some assembly is needed, and Kolbi supply the connection pins.

The piece
The detail behind the silhouette
Ink is a dark blue that behaves almost like a neutral. It grounds a room the way charcoal does, but with more life in it, and it sits well against white, sand and warm timber. A darker fabric is also forgiving in a family room, where a pale sofa would show every visit.
The Desert Calm's appeal is its depth. The deep seat lets you sit back properly, and the low back keeps the profile clean, so it does not block a view or dominate a room from behind. Choose the 3 Seater for a standard living room, or the 4 Seater where it needs to fill a long wall.

Vacuum regularly with a soft upholstery attachment, which lifts dust and body moisture before they can discolour the fabric. Kolbi recommend a professional dry clean at least once a year. Keep the sofa out of direct sun, using curtains or blinds where needed, as UV fades and weakens fabric. Blot spills straight away with absorbent paper or a white, non-abrasive cloth, then use mild, colourless soap suds rather than detergent. Some fabrics pill at first. That is excess fibre working its way out, not a fault, and it is not covered by warranty; a pill remover takes it off and it eases with time. Always lift the sofa with two people, and never drag it across the floor.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
