The dBodhi Hopper Pedestal with one drawer and an open rack is a bedside-sized piece in reclaimed teak, measuring 70cm wide and 52cm high. The drawer runs on a soft close system, with an open display rack above it. Panels are faced in handwoven coconut midrib-leaf.

Beside a bed, the split between one closed drawer and one open shelf is close to ideal. The drawer takes the things you would rather not look at, and the open rack holds a book, a glass of water and a lamp without you opening anything in the dark.
A soft close mechanism matters more here than almost anywhere else in a house. A drawer that cannot be slammed is a drawer that will not wake someone at six in the morning. At 52cm high it sits at a sensible height relative to most mattresses, reachable while lying down. The woven coconut midrib panels give it texture at close range, which is where a bedside piece is actually seen, and the finely crafted handles carry a retro note against the contemporary cabinetry.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
