The dBodhi Caterpillar Twin Chair is handcrafted from reclaimed teak with a handwoven abaca fibre seat, standing 75cm high and weighing 6.5kg. The contoured solid teak frame is shaped for comfort. Light enough to move around a room easily.

At 6.5kg this is genuinely light for a solid timber chair, and that changes how you use it. A chair you can pick up with one hand gets moved between rooms, pulled out for extra guests and repositioned as needed, rather than staying where it was first put.

The contours of the frame are doing the comfort work here, since there is no padding to fall back on. Curves in the right places make a hard chair sittable for a full meal, and the woven abaca seat adds some give and breathability on top.
