dBodhi Brawny Dining Chair
The dBodhi Brawny Dining Chair is an armless chair in reclaimed teak with a handwoven abaca seat and backrest, standing 80.5cm high. Abaca is a natural fibre that brings texture against the solid timber. Lightweight enough to move easily.

The detail behind the silhouette
Abaca is worth knowing as a material. It is a banana-family fibre, stronger than most natural weaves and more resistant to moisture, which is why it holds up as a seat surface where a softer fibre would sag over time.
Going armless is the right call for a dining chair used in numbers. Chairs without arms tuck fully under a table, so they take less room when not in use and let you fit more people around the same table. The weave also breathes, which makes a long meal more comfortable than solid timber does. Each chair is handcrafted from reclaimed teak, so grain and tone vary. Order a set together if you want them closely matched.

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the timber's natural finish. Avoid excess moisture to preserve the abaca weave. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
